The challenge
Money moving between the Gulf and East Africa passes through a chain of agents, fees and waiting. The people relying on that chain are working shifts, not sitting at desks, so the product had to make a balance, a transfer and a statement legible in seconds, on a mid-range phone, on a patchy connection.
Our approach
We started from the account dashboard rather than the marketing site, because that is the screen people would open every day. Balance, account number and the four actions that matter most sit above everything else. Everything secondary moved behind a deliberate second tap.
What we shipped
A full design system and front end covering onboarding and identity review, wallet funding, transfers and transaction history, backed by typed APIs and an account service built to add loans and remittance corridors without a rewrite.
